Advances in information technology through the years, have modified business processes within and between enterprise enterprises. In the 1960s, operating systems had restricted functionality, and any workflow administration methods that have been in use were tailor-made for the specific group. The Nineteen Seventies-1980s saw the development of knowledge-pushed approaches, as information storage and retrieval applied sciences improved.
